May make recommendations for software design and improvements Researching and identifying the requirements of software development and application programming needs Designing, developing, coding, testing, and implementing software that supports the needs of multiple research projects, considering the individual goals and objectives of each entity Participating in standards for development and software selection and making software development process and design recommendations within the department or program and to project stakeholders Providing analytical and technical guidance to team members and stakeholders. Identifying requirements, developing software design, coding, planning and executing testing, and ensuring that the software delivered meets specifications Producing written documentation for new and existing processes, programs, code, applications, and workflow.
