We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to head up our new Irish operation in the life sciences industry.
About the Role
As CCO, you will lead our commercial strategies for Ireland, drive business growth, and build a high-performing commercial operations team. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector. Secure new business opportunities and establish long-term strategic client partnerships with the Business Development team. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery. Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks. Create and manage organisational budgets and monitor KPIs to track performance. Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success. Requirements
8-10+ years of experience in commercial/operations/site lead role within the logistics/supply chain sector. Experience in temperature-controlled or cold chain logistics would be a major advantage. Experience working in, or working with clients from, the life sciences or related sectors would be a major advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the life sciences sector. The Offer
The salary and benefits package will be negotiated at a senior leadership/executive level to reflect the significant complexities and responsibilities of this role. The role can be office-based, hybrid, or primarily remote (within Ireland) to suit the incoming candidate. Candidates without full eligibility to live and work in Ireland on a permanent basis will not be considered.
