Summary:
The Sr. Manager, BI & Reporting is carries out activities related to design, development, implementation and operation of business intelligence, operational and financial reporting across the processes supported by the RES ERP and its related integrated technologies.
The position is responsible for aligning Data, BI and Reporting activities with the company's long-term goals and objectives. They have a broad business perspective and are skilled in translating business needs into data strategies. Their role is vital in ensuring that data and reporting investments deliver value and drive competitive advantage.
Requirements:
Develops and designs standardized reports, dashboards and visualizations, contributes to logical data models, and coordinates with users the development and delivery of reporting and data integration solutions.
Supports across value streams and supporting functions with data-centric operations in IFS (including imports, exports, extracts and maintenance of basic and master data, loading of budgets, forecasts and schedules and registers).
Collaborates with individuals and groups across multiple teams to design reporting solutions and make trusted data available according to agreed design patterns.
Uses quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies.
Advises on developing and deploying new data technologies and capabilities in support of business strategies and needs.
Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects.
Transfers data from external sources like flat files or database tables/views to an IFS Application instance through application business logic.
Executes data migration jobs and procedures, including custom objects and fields.
Utilizes current technology to gather, store, disseminate, and analyze information to ultimately make strategic decision-making data available to system users.
Implements data governance policies and security to ensure compliance and safeguard data assets. (HIPPA, GDPR, GAAP).
Contributes to data and integration governance, quality control, and information auditing,including working directly with application developers and clients to resolve data conflicts andinappropriate usage.
Provides training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices.
Advises and supports the business with systems analysis of variances and reconciliations.
Provides timely and quality resolution support through troubleshooting, research, and resolution.
Assist in planning and consulting on how to effectively deliver designs, models, and reports within the organization.
Assesses and improves the operational health of the data solutions including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
Authors and routinely reviews technical documentation necessary to facilitate usage and adoption of data solutions, including user and admin guides; routinely review documentation to ensure accuracy.
Identifies trends in customer issues, recommends improvements, and implements approved improvements.
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Keeps abreast of the most recent trends, tools and technologies in business intelligence.
Identifies opportunities to enhance existing BI processes and systems.
Participates in the development and implementation of data governance and data quality standards.

Qualifications:
Highschool/GED is required.
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field is preferred.
7 + years if experiences in Data Analysis, Financial Reporting or related field is required.
Ability to travel 5-15%.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level data solutions.
Experience in developing solutions for Business Intelligence reporting.
Proficient with data management and modeling, methodologies and technologies.
Strong skills in developing data models, process maps, procedural documentation and presentations.
Knowledge of IFS-specific reporting options, tools and methods including Lobbies, Operational Reporting, Business Reporter, Report Designer and Power BI Integration.
Knowledge of IFS-specific data migration options, tools and methods.
SQL & PL SQL proficiency.
Sufficient UI/UX experience to provide high quality and engaging data visualizations and reports.
Exposure to Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory and related technologies.
Foundation understanding of Data science, Statistics, ML/AI.
Experience troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance in a cloud environment.
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau and other common data visualization platforms.
Experience with supporting multi-national organizations with diverse data needs.
Knowledge of help desk ticketing software, preferably ServiceNow.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with ITIL v3 or related service delivery frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management as a team member.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Critical thinking skills.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Anticipated base salary range: $138,000 - $162,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
