Sr Procurement IT Systems Analyst

Summary:
The Procurement IT Systems Analyst is part of the center-led Procurement Team, achieving competitive advantage through the application of best practices in supply management and driving overall business profitability. The Procurement IT Analyst supports the procurement processes and ongoing operations for RES’ procurement technologies, manages and maintains procurement contract data within the contract management system, supports development of contract templates, and monitors contract escalations and overall contract compliance.
Requirements:
Serves as the main procurement point of contact for the IT COE, including on-going procurement requirements for RES’ ERP.
Serves as the main point of contact for Procurement for all IT COE requests with the exception of dashboards and reporting.
Serves as the help desk / first line of defense for procurement users relating to troubleshooting and configuring RES tools and processes employed.
Supports IT and procurement in the acquisition, deployment, and management of any other procurement related technologies to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
Ensures that all procurement users, approvals, and filters are set up in accordance with RES’ procurement policies.
Manages the maintenance of the standard contractual templates within the system.
Manages and works with IT to ensure catalogs are implemented and up to date.
Manages and maintains procurement contract’s lifecycles in the contract management system, including contract expiration.
Supports the Category Management and Sourcing teams on contract related items (e.g. support development of contract templates, contract language in RFx, sourcing execution – negotiation exceptions).
Proactively tracks contract usage of preferred suppliers, contracted pricing, and actual spending against contracted agreements.
Supports the primary contact person with Legal regarding contractual exceptions / issues to legal terms.
Monitors and audits contract terms, changes, and performance to ensure compliance.
Supports the Source-to-Pay Process Owner in managing strategic and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supports the Source-to-Pay Process Owner in building reports for finance requests (e.g., savings).
Supports the Source-to-Pay Process Owner in process and policy ownership as well as project management.
Recommends S2P policy improvements and supports monitoring of compliance to S2P policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
Drives use of procurement best practices and standardization of procurement processes while minimizing supply risk.
Proactively engages in continuous improvement opportunities and evaluates and implements ways to better the Procurement Team.
Facilitates change management with colleagues and key contacts throughout the organization.
Learns and actively drives the use of the various software platforms used by Procurement.
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent degree, or 10+ years of military/education/relevant work/field experience combination.
3 or more years' experience in contract management, sourcing, procurement operations/consulting, or audit.
Ability to travel 16 to 30%.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
Experience with procurement operations/consulting, catalog management, contract management, process improvement project management, and ERPs.
Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs.
Good teamwork skills to work with other functions to plan and execute on-going deployments of new procurement processes and technologies.
Strong teamwork and facilitation skills to plan, communicate, collaborate, and implement new procurement processes and technologies across RES.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with minimum supervision required.
Strong project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Highly desirable
ISM or CIPS certification.
5 or more years’ experience in contract management, sourcing, procurement operations/consulting, or audit.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with process, quality control, and workflow management and design.
Knowledge of business systems including ERP and Contract Management, including configuration and user acceptance testing.
Knowledge of legal contract terminology and conditions as well as intellectual property issues, and data privacy issues and regulations.
Knowledge of renewable construction industry and associated field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of Lean methodology.
Anticipated base salary range: $87,000 - $115,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
