Our focus is on developing reference platforms based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoC, delivering a comprehensive solution that includes hardware, software, reference designs, user guides, SDKs, and more. Position: Platform Architect As an experienced Platform Architect, you will take on a technical leadership role within the platform team, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including SoC, software, firmware, packaging, SIPI, and product management. You will be responsible for designing high-performance platforms and ensuring their successful, timely transition to production for our server products. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in designing hardware for data center environments. Strong expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed analog and digital designs. Deep proficiency in DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and MDIO. Practical experience with lab and debugging tools, including logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, differential probes, and VNAs. Strong technical documentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in hardware design for data center environments. In-depth knowledge of data center architectures, spanning from edge computing to hyperscale infrastructures. Proven track record in leading product development at major OEMs or CMs. Proven success in delivering solutions for hyperscale data centers. Expertise in multi-phase DC-DC power supply design and magnetics. Familiarity with design tools such as OrCAD and Allegro. Working knowledge of Linux, Python, and C++. Key Responsibilities: Deliver top-tier test and reference platforms to both internal teams and external customers. Collaborate with customers to guide and support the development of custom platforms leveraging Qualcomm CPUs. Partner with internal teams, marketing, end-customers, OEMs, and suppliers to create platform roadmaps and detailed requirement documentation. Provide high-level technical leadership, guidance, and oversight across all platform functions (mechanical, thermal, electrical, operations, documentation, etc.). Lead collaboration with industry partners on emerging technologies, including memory, storage, networking, energy efficiency, and system disaggregation. Prepare and present clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders, including engineering teams, senior management, customers, and suppliers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
