About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Equity Investment Platform, with a primary focus on sourcing, structuring, and acquiring hotel real estate in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying off-market investment opportunities, coordinating real estate transaction structures, leading the underwriting and due diligence process, and presenting findings to company executives. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, experience in conducting and presenting feasibility studies, and a proven track record in negotiating real estate transactions. The Vice President will also be expected to have exceptionally strong financial modeling skills, and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, and to work closely with division leaders to develop and achieve business plans for new hotels.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a background in finance, real estate, business, or hospitality, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in real estate or hotel acquisitions and development. A Master's degree is a plus, and a background in investment banking or private equity is preferred. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as superior presentation and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record with external client relationships and be part of an ambitious, results-driven team. The position offers a clear growth path within the company, with the potential to advance to the Executive Vice President level.
