The successful candidate will have a chance to lead some of the most exciting new capture opportunities in the areas of human and scientific exploration, space mobility and logistics, space security, national security, and advanced telecommunications. This individual will work closely with Northrop Grumman’s leadership team and other industry and government partners to run all aspects of his/her assigned pursuits. Specific areas of focus include market research and data analytics, customer relationship management and shaping, capture strategy development and execution and proposal development, submission, and negotiations through contract award. Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

Understanding of and engagements within the customer marketplace and stakeholder customer organizations and budgets in order to identify market drivers and trends and develop strategies. Developing capture strategy and tactics to produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis results applied to improve competitive posture. Developing clear and concise Win Themes and Value Propositions for the capture. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and functional organizations involved in program pursuit. Developing relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships. Coordinating and collaborating with line of business management, strategy, business and finance, contracts and global supply chain, technology and engineering offices and functions. Development and management of investment capture project funds, schedule, and execution. Proposal development including managing process, writing proposal responses, and developing pricing to deliver compelling and compliant proposals. Securing RFPs, preparing proposals, negotiating and definitizing contracts. Meeting all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processes. Exceptional leadership and teambuilding skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with the customer, program management, business unit and supply base executives and functional management. Willing and able to travel as required (up to 50%). Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. 10+ years' experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development. Knowledge and experience of any of the following: civil and commercial space, space security, national security. Proven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and inspires diverse and engaged teams. Knowledge of customer acquisition processes. Active TS/SAP at the time of the application. Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or Business discipline. Self-directed leader with exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels of the organization; Proficient with executive presentations and communication. Active SCI and/or SAP. Experience interfacing with senior management, peers, and employees. Aptitude to develop and execute to strategy. Knowledge and experience of multiple mission areas within: Civilian Space, Space Security, MilSatCom, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Space Domain Awareness, or Geospatial Intelligence. Knowledge of the acquisition processes and Customer organizations (NASA, USSF, USAF, SDA, AFRL, IC). Earned value management of complex multi-layer projects. Subcontract Management experience. Salary Range:

$180,600 - $271,000. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
