The Central Estimating team is looking for talent to help shape the future of LM Space business. Do you want to drive technical advancement within proposal estimation tools across the enterprise, collaborate across all LM Space Line of Businesses to enhance estimating strategy, to partner with all levels of leadership and cross-functional organizations to deliver value-add analysis that will result in the new business wins that shape the future of our business?

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the LM Space Central Estimating organization which is responsible for the LM Space Estimating Business System. The successful candidate will:

• Provide strategic guidance to proposal teams and management throughout proposal development, negotiation and certification activities to ensure proposals are delivered in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, System Requirements & other govt. regulations. • Unique opportunity to engage with leadership across all Lockheed Martin Business areas, Space Lines of Businesses and Major Functional Organizations • Drive enhancement initiatives to LM Space’s Estimating Business System, proposal strategies and practices through oversite of changes in government acquisition regulation, policy and practice • Develops and leads initiatives to enhance/streamline proposal processes and tools across Lockheed Martin enterprise, Space Lines of Business and across functional organizations • Analyzes and presents Estimating System health and performance through implementation of performance metrics, surveillance programs, and mitigating/corrective actions. • Develop and deliver training for the proposal community across Space Lines of Business and Major Functional Organizations focused on standards and tools to achieve high quality and fully compliant products for our customers

Basic Qualifications: • Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements, apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work with estimating systems or proposal development or data analytics Desired Skills: • Bachelors and/or advanced degree in Business, Economics, Math, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or other related field • Estimating experience in aerospace & defense, construction, manufacturing or related industry • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) • Strong working knowledge of ProPricer, genBOE, Power Query and/or Alteryx • Understanding of estimating governance and compliance • Experience supporting DCAA / DCMA audits • Strong working knowledge of Tableau • Ability to work with parametric estimating techniques or data analytics • Current DoD TS clearance and/or TS/SCI clearance Clearance Level:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $71,000 - $136,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $81,600 - $153,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
