Summary:
Reporting to the Director, International Tax, the Senior Manager, International
Tax will work with many members of tax, finance, legal and business teams and will be responsible for lead U.S. international tax compliance, tax provision, strategic tax planning, and audit defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hollister operates in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance:
Lead the calculation and review of E&P, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT and FTC for the U.S. federal income tax return, including FIN 48. Review of all required US tax compliance forms and filings for foreign entities such as 5471s, 5472s, 8858s, 8865s.
Tax Provisions:
Review US and local GAAP tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Planning:
Manage developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities across multiple jurisdictions.
Pillar Two Compliance:
Manage the execution and strategic oversight of the OECD's Pillar Two framework, including the implementation of global minimum tax rules and reporting requirements.
Tax Defense:
Manage tax audits and disputes, working closely with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment on tax-related matters and support business initiatives.
Regulatory Updates:
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTA) preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in international tax and provision experience in public accounting, law firm, corporate in-house or a combination thereof.
Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience.
In-depth knowledge of OECD Pillar Two framework and global minimum tax rules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
