- Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide vascular surgical support on an on-call basis.
- Address emergency and urgent vascular cases as they arise.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and timely response to vascular needs.
- Coverage Details:
- 24-hour call coverage from December 26, 2024, 7 AM to January 1, 2025, 7 AM.
- Ongoing need for 4-8 shifts per month.
- Providers will be required to be available for call only, with no routine patient management or rounding.
- EMR System: Epic
- Practice Environment: Inpatient setting focused on vascular and cardiovascular emergencies.
- Patients Per Shift: 0 (Call Only)
- Bed Capacity in Department: 0 (No direct rounding or patient management required)
- Certifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are not required.
- Licensing: Must be licensed to practice in Missouri.
- Experience: Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery is required. Significant experience in cardiovascular surgery is preferred.
