The Project Manager is focused on ensuring the alignment of portfolio projects with the organization's strategic objectives and that these projects are executed within the set parameters. The role encompasses evaluating the health and performance of existing Enterprise Data & Insights (ED&I) projects, identifying areas of improvement, and contributing to the strategy for new projects. The Project Manager is the facilitator of communication across stakeholders at all levels, ensuring endorsement of project goals. This role is responsible for generating executive-level reports and dashboards, keeping a keen eye on project performance metrics, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Assist the Program Manager in creating and executing the portfolio strategy Devise and maintain project-focused dashboards and reports to communicate status, highlight performance indicators, and monitor financial tracking Partake in the formulation, application, and maintenance of program management regulations, procedures, and benchmarks Track and report on the progress of various initiatives/projects within the program, and remove impediments/blockages that the team might face for smooth progress Act as the single point of contact for designated projects concerning timelines adjustment, and resource allocation Facilitate all scrum events in the program such as sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings (daily scrum), sprint review, and sprint retrospective Aid in managing the backlog for projects, ensuring backlog items are well-defined, correctly prioritized, and ready for implementation Guide regular project reviews and progress meetings, ensuring proper communication and documentation of project performance, potential risks, and problems. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management and/or project management roles. Preferred: Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2 or Agile) preferred KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 5 years of experience in portfolio, program management and/or project management roles Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders Knowledge of data management practices and principles and how to incorporate them into project management activities TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Project Management Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Microsoft Project, Gantt charts) Data Analytics and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau and Microstrategy) Big Data Concepts (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases) Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) Data Management or Analytics Software (e.g., Informatica, IBM, Oracle) Travel 5% Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
