POSITION SUMMARY: This position will create and ensure maintenance of Floorplans within our Blue Yonder Floor Planning System. They will work closely with the internal merchandising teams to assign planograms to store floorplans and flow according to criteria that meet our standards and the needs of our guests. This role works with multiple cross functional teams to ensure effective and on time floorplan implementation. The floorplans are used by stores to execute merchandising and fixture changes and to evaluate overall space productivity.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Floorplan Implementation: Develop and execute assigned floorplans in accordance with merchandising strategies, product assortments, and space allocation guidelines from multiple department space realignments. Special Projects: Create merchandise floorplans for New Stores, Relocations, Remodels, New Brand Launches, and Fixture Strategy updates. Prototype Reviews: Meet with merchant leadership to create prototypical store layouts following concise criteria. Design templates with consideration for space allocation, brand adjacencies, guest experience, and store labor hours. Data Accuracy: Ensure correct planograms are assigned to store floorplans using extensive validation reports, and quality control checkpoints. Release What Changed Reports, Planogram Adjacency Reports, and Matrix Reports (Planogram-Store assignment) with Merchandise Transition Timeline.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Space Planning, Inventory, Assortment Analytics, Visual, Store Design, and Store Operations to ensure floorplans align with business objectives and customer needs. Engage merchant and space teams with pre-planning deliverables, including store-planogram assignments, recommended brand adjacencies, and analytics. Communication: Present and influence complex ideas with the ability to translate them into simple digestible documentation for team members. Space Productivity: Utilize Floorplan Optimization tools, and department lines to make data-driven recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION : Familiarity in Blue Yonder (JDA) Floor Planning software is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail operations, space planning, or merchandising. Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or interior design preferred. Strong working knowledge in, Word, Excel, Access, and Power-Point Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Familiarity in analysis with the capability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations. Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality assurance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
Working Conditions : Typical office environment at client Corporate Office. Minimal travel may be required for quarterly visits to local stores, prototype stores and related seminars as needed.
