Job Description

OMS Interface Developer Responsibilities IMP is looking for a highly motivated OMS (Trade Order Management System) Interface Developer to join our Consulting Practice. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with our clients in designing and developing custom interfaces and data feeds for trading, compliance, and other related trade life cycle components. You will work with the vendor's API, SQL, Batch scripting, Java/C#, and other standard ETL tools such as Kettle, participating in all phases of the projects from proof-of-concept to QA, UAT, and implementation into Production. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of/experience in: 5 years of experience as a Charles River Developer (preferred) or as Developer in another leading OMS (Latent Zero, LongView, Aladdin, Bloomberg, etc.), with designing and developing custom interfaces. Experience in creating and integrating custom front-end applications with Portfolio Management and Trading Tools in a leading OMS system. 2+ years of experience with designing and implementing custom imports/exports utilizing SQL, Shell Scripting, and ETL Tools. 3-5 years of experience working with Java and .NET technologies (C#, VB). Proficient in writing stored procedures and functions in Oracle PL/SQL and/or MSSQL. Requirements Undergraduate Degree from an Accredited College or University in Computer Science or related field or honorably discharged veteran with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills. Solid written and oral communication skills. Location : Remote, but up to 20% travel may be required to Boston or New York City. Candidates in the Northeast preferred.
