With hundreds of clients throughout the U.S., we deliver comprehensive online and mobile solutions that support banks and credit unions, ranging from small community financial institutions to new, innovative direct banks.Summary:We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Core Banking and API integrations. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with third-party vendors and clients to gather and analyze requirements, and to deliver effective solutions that drive our Digital Banking initiatives. Location (Wilmington, NC, Austin, TX, Remote):We have offices in Wilmington, NC and Austin, TX and while some positions are office based, we will also consider remote candidates in our preferred time zones of CST/EST.Responsibilities:Working directly with product managers, architects, designers, and technical leads to creating functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.Partner with engineering teammates to create /update technical designs, when required. Interface with internal stakeholders to produce client-facing product guides. Create acceptance criteria for Quality Assurance to leverage for automated testing. Perform functional validation against business requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.Develop and maintain API integration specifications to ensure seamless connectivity with third-party systems.Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure successful integration and adherence to industry standards.Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents, process flows, and user stories.Support the testing process by developing test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Banking and API development.Experience working with project and development management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate industry experience A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. 2+ years of software/application development experience. Experience working in a SaaS company. Experience working directly with APIs including the ability to read API document and using tools like Postman. 2+ years working in financial services (banking or FinTech) a plus.
