Project Manager, Enterprise PMO

Overview

The Project Manager (PM) sits within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and reports to the Sr. Project Manager. The PMO resides in the Strategy Department and serves as the liaison between the business and cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for managing highly cross-functional projects throughout the company's Project Life Cycle (PLC).The PM must have the ability create and manage project plans, resource the team to execute, manage Risks & Issues along the way, and effectively report on project status at all levels of the organization. The PM will provide transparent communication on project status and risks, and report back to the Sr. Project Manager. The PM should have the ability to guide and collaborate with various critical roles in the project including Business Lead, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Workstream Leads, etc.

Responsibilities:

Ensure projects are managed following Project Management & PMO best practices. Be responsible for executing multiple workstreams within medium-large complex projects. Develop the Project Plan, from kick off to operationalization, in partnership with the Business Lead. Have excellent meeting management skills. Facilitate project status meetings, maintain accountability for deliverables, and motivate project team member. Identify project risks and mitigation plans. Ensure projects are managed to success measures, delivery dates, and other key vital signs, Escalate needs and roadblocks to Sr. Project Manager and take corrective actions as needed. Report project status to the EPMO and project key stakeholders. Maintain stakeholder alignment with the EPMO process. Keep stakeholders focused on project objectives and change management by adapting communication to stakeholder workstyle to see results that best support the project and company vision. Support Senior Project Managers and coach PMs/Project Analysts. Lead continuous improvement activities on behalf of the EPMO team.

Requirements:

2-3 years of project management experience Minimum 2 years of experience working in a PMO. Leadership experience managing project managers and other stakeholders, both directly and indirectly. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
