Role Description: This is a very unique opportunity on the Business Development team of an elite investment bank. FT Partners has an unparalleled reputation as the preeminent advisor in the Financial Technology sector and is highly sought out by companies, investors and boards of directors from all around the world. Our research and analysis has been featured on Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, and the Financial Times and is regularly viewed by CEOs and industry leaders around the world. In this role, you will: Execute both external and internal high priority strategic activities globally for the firm Identify and gain deep familiarity with all players across the FinTech ecosystem, including speaking with CEO/CFO/Board level executives and Private Equity / Venture Capital Investors around the world Work closely with senior bankers and other FT Partners executives to develop and implement strategies to further cement FT Partners as the central point within the FinTech ecosystem Manage a team of analysts to identify and evaluate new investment banking opportunities, perform valuations, and maintain our proprietary database Assist the research team in identifying significant M&A and private capital raising transactions and produce high quality / high visibility reports Work closely with firm management to analyze efficiency and various KPIs, understand firm capacity, and evaluate / implement new solutions to drive greater firm efficiency and performance Develop subject matter expertise in the FinTech industry and develop high impact, client facing reports on investment trends and acquisitions in this space Gain valuable first-hand experience with Investment Banking concepts and exposure to senior level investment banking team members All employees on the Business Development team learn a significant amount about the investment banking process as well as the "ins and outs" of the merger & acquisition and private capital raising processes. Because we are a boutique investment bank, you will also gain significant exposure to senior investment banking professionals, senior executives at FT Partners, and leading-edge financial technology companies. There are significant opportunities to take on additional responsibility over time as specialized knowledge is gained. Salary:
