We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to perform visual inspections on manufactured parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. The role involves assessing various gas turbine components, conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections, completing First Article Inspection Reports, and interfacing with engineering teams for work instruction improvements. This position is for the 2nd shift. Qualifications: Perform visual inspections on manufactured parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Assess various gas turbine components received for inspection by following written procedures, documents (blueprints, drawings, and specifications), and established practices. Conduct NDT inspections as required, including X-ray, FPI, ultrasonic, and more. Complete First Article Inspection Report inspections and maintain documentation. Interface with engineering and order execution teams regarding recommendations for work instruction and router improvements. Experience in NDT inspection and FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection). NDT Level II certification. 3+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector. Experience with turbine components is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions. Basic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time-keeping applications. Detail-oriented and capable of documenting inspection notes on a computer. Why Work Here?

This role is based in an industrial turbine manufacturing facility with an air-conditioned production warehouse. The position is primarily for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm to 2:00 am). Safety is a priority, and employees are required to wear safety shoes rated by ASTM F 2413-05 or ANSI Z41-1999, with specific protections. The job involves physical activities such as stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing for long periods, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The work environment can be noisy and includes exposure to hazards such as moving mechanical parts, high heat, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for specific tasks.
