VetsEZ is seeking a full-time remote

InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS Architect

to design and deliver integrated health solutions for federal healthcare clients, emphasizing automation and semantic interoperability. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with solution design, translating complex requirements into scalable, robust architectures. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: Architect and configure the InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS platform with a focus on automation and CI/CD. Design solutions leveraging healthcare standards like HL7v2, FHIR, and IHE. Lead development teams, driving the creation of scalable, future-ready solutions. Develop APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and API-based integrations. Utilize CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS-based architectures. Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0. Program using InterSystems ObjectScript, .NET (C#), or other OOP languages. Apply Enterprise Integration Patterns to solution designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and team leadership. Proven ability to develop enterprise-level interoperability solutions. HealthShare Unified Care Record Technical Specialist. SAFe Agile Architect is a plus. Strong interpersonal and customer advocacy skills. Additional Qualifications: Eligible for Public Trust Clearance. Flexible, team-oriented, and skilled at adapting to shifting priorities.
