In this role, you'll be at the heart of implementing a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system that will directly improve patient care and streamline workflows. You'll work closely with clinical staff and IT teams to design solutions that meet the real needs of healthcare providers. By testing and validating the system, you'll ensure it works seamlessly and complies with standards and organizational needs. Job Class Specifications Minimum Qualifications:
Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska. AND Two years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse, one of which must have been as a full-performance/journey level Psychiatric or Corrections Nurse. This latter experience may be met by prior service as a Psychiatric Nurse 2 or Corrections Nurse 2 with the State of Alaska or its equivalent with another employer. Substitution:
Combinations of prior training and experience in other specializations of nursing care (e.g., Med-Surg, Corrections, Public Health, Critical Care) will be evaluated for comparability on a case-by-case basis. Special Note:
Candidates not currently licensed by the State of Alaska, who otherwise meet the eligibility requirements for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska and requisite qualifying experience, may apply for vacancies in this job class.
