Digital & Social Marketing Director

leads the strategic development and execution of digital and social marketing initiatives across Cornerstone Building Brands. This role is responsible for setting direction, establishing governance, and optimizing digital, social media, SEO, SEM, and online reputation management to drive cohesive brand experiences, maximize engagement, and support revenue growth. The Director will oversee a team focused on implementing best practices and ensuring alignment across all digital and social marketing activities. This position works cross-functionally with marketing, IT, UX/UI, legal, compliance, and business unit teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and innovation across digital channels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Center of Excellence Leadership

Lead Digital & Social Marketing efforts within the Center of Excellence, establishing governance, processes, and best practices for digital properties, social media, SEO, SEM, digital advertising, and online reputation management to ensure consistency and optimal performance across the organization. Develop a comprehensive framework aligned with corporate goals while supporting the unique needs of individual business units. Act as the digital marketing subject matter expert by providing guidance, training, and thought leadership on emerging trends, technologies, and platform innovations. Foster collaboration among business units, sharing resources and insights to optimize digital and social marketing activities. Partner closely with IT, legal, human resources, customer support, and other cross-functional teams to integrate digital initiatives seamlessly across all touchpoints. Collaborate with the Lead Generation Manager to ensure alignment between demand generation initiatives and broader digital and social marketing strategies. Strategic Oversight & Execution

Develop and implement digital and social marketing strategies that align with corporate goals and drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. Oversee the planning, design, and performance of digital properties (websites, customer portals, and social platforms), ensuring they align with brand strategy and user experience best practices. Manage digital planning processes, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery of high-quality initiatives. SEO, SEM, Digital & Social Media & Online Reputation Management

SEO & SEM Governance: Establish and enforce governance standards for SEO and SEM to optimize all digital properties for search engine visibility and paid search performance. Drive a data-driven approach to improve organic search rankings, keyword strategy, and paid search ROI. Digital Media, Programmatic, and AI-Driven Campaigns: Develop guidelines and best practices for digital media strategies, including programmatic and AI-driven campaigns, to ensure cohesive brand messaging, audience targeting, and optimal reach across digital channels. Social Media & Online Reputation Management: Set standards and best practices for social media governance, ensuring consistent brand representation and engagement across platforms. Oversee online reputation management efforts across channels like Google My Business, local listings, review sites, Reddit, niche forums, and discussion boards to monitor brand sentiment and engage with customers. Data Privacy, Security & Accessibility Compliance

Ensure all digital initiatives comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), maintaining the highest standards for security and privacy protection across digital channels. Oversee web accessibility (WCAG) compliance, conducting regular audits and ensuring all digital properties are inclusive and accessible to all users. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure digital governance policies are up-to-date and adhered to across the organization. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Define KPIs and use analytics tools to measure the performance of digital and social marketing across business units. Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize digital and social marketing efforts, improve user experience, and drive business outcomes. Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on the impact of digital and social marketing efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, customer-facing technologies, or business strategy. Experience leading digital and social marketing efforts in a matrixed organization, with a strong understanding of financial metrics and performance-driven strategies. Strong knowledge of web security, data privacy regulations, and accessibility standards. Experience in the building products, manufacturing or construction industry is a plus, but not required. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Willingness to travel as needed.
