Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments. Requirements: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, molecular genetics, microbiology, or a related field. Previous experience in a law firm or industry setting. Admission to the USPTO. Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical inventions. Experience in biotech commercialization, such as university tech transfer, or industry commercialization/regulatory compliance is desirable.
