Position description
Position: Junior Specialist
The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Irvine is accepting applications for Junior or Assistant Specialists. This is a one year appointment, non-senate, and is renewable based on performance and availability of funding.
The position is in the TRUE Lab (https://truelab.som.uci.edu/) where we are developing cutting-edge imaging technologies for biomedical applications. Our research primarily focuses on the development of imaging instrumentation and image processing algorithms.
Basic Qualifications:
Junior Specialist requirement: Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in applied physics, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering.
Orange County is world renowned for its natural beauty, perfect year round climate, gorgeous locales on the Pacific Ocean and incomparable recreational opportunities. Great cultural opportunities abound in Orange County as well as in nearby Los Angeles, 40 minutes away and San Diego, about 60 minutes away.
