What you'll do: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application Architect to join our team and use advanced technologies to drive transformation in mission-critical services. As a key member of our technical team, you will architect solutions that incorporate AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, and multi-cloud environments. You will be instrumental in shaping our enterprise architecture, collaborating with both business and technical teams, and ensuring that systems meet business requirements, performance, and security standards. Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel, Maryland 20707. Responsibilities: Offers technical guidance to stakeholders on project implementation and manages major projects involving professional support services and complex system integration. Leads the design and development of e-government solutions, infrastructure, and backend applications. Defines Commission architecture blueprints, specializing in web servers, gateways, and application servers. Proficient in web application technologies and middleware solutions. Researches and evaluates new technologies for business improvement. Ensures technical alignment with enterprise architecture, sets best practices, conducts code reviews, and identifies performance issues early for resolution. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience: Must have extensive experience in developing large scale applications in fourth generation programming languages. Must have experience in defining application roadmap to ensure the maintenance of state-of-the-art systems. Must have experience defining technical best practices for application implementation and experience in providing high level architecture/ design documents. Must have experience working with different stakeholders to understand and document the software system needs. Must have experience in managing medium to large-scale sites and in the management of at least five Internet projects. Must have experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems and must have led work as an architect in a major IT applications implementation effort. Must be proficient in the use of some major enterprise architecture software systems. Must have advanced knowledge of web servers and databases. Must be able to develop and lead the implementation of solutions to identified software problems. Must be able to compare various solutions and determine the most suitable. Ensures that development efforts are well planned and in agreement with standards. Preferred: Experience with utilities applications. Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
