1 Charge Nurse/ 10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit Secretary Night Shift
1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTs Patient Ratios
1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation. Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner; EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have:
candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Stepdown or progressive care experience Telemetry experience Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc. Preferred or nice to have:
candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin). Relief charge experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Bedside Cardioversion Best personality Fit: Flexible, positive attitude, great team player, compassionate REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Will be discussed during orientation Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend
