Aftermarket Sales Manager (Shelton, CT)

As an Aftermarket Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of direct reports, overseeing their performance, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. You will report into the Vice President, Customer Enablement and your role will be pivotal in delivering growth through service contract renewals, contract additions, and other aftermarket products.

Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales targets and other KPIs including renewal rates, new unit additions, and warranty conversions Manage an inside sales team and work with broader service team to expand the contract base by adding new contracts Set team direction and create action plans to deliver results Forecast sales results, track leading KPIs, and lead funnel management process Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory Coach and manage performance of 13 inside sales reps Hire and onboard new associates Take ownership of key customer relationships Develop training plans to drive better product knowledge, cross functional collaboration, and growth Identify process improvement opportunities and create and foster a culture of continuous improvement Lead change through a growing organization Create a best in class aftermarket sales team Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of inside sales or field service experience Effective time management and organization Strong communication skills (telephone & email) Preferred Characteristics
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar scientific field Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry Leadership experience in sales or field service
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $89,000 to $100,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
