Job Description:
As a Contact Solution Project Manager, you will oversees project management activities to transition the current IVR (integrated voice response) system and client contact solution to a future state solution. This project includes technical, policy, and process requirements impacting multiple programs and systems. The role involves creating project plans, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and meeting critical project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Select and apply project management methodologies such as SAFe, SCRUM, and Agile. Manage the project from planning through implementation, ensuring priorities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage scope changes, project requirements, and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate with IT, vendors, project team members, and subject matter experts to ensure successful solution implementation. Lead project planning sessions with stakeholders, vendors, and subject matter experts. Coordinate multi-functional teams and task dependencies, ensuring smooth schedules and collaboration. Oversee stakeholder communications, providing timely updates, status reports, and presentations. Assist in developing test plans and managing issue resolution processes. Monitor vendor adherence to contract deliverables and communicate progress to executive leadership. Facilitate discussion, resolve conflicts, and build consensus among stakeholders. Lead the project team to ensure successful project outcomes by providing guidance, training, and leadership.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND five years of recent, relevant project management experience. Demonstrated experience managing multiple project teams simultaneously. Intermediate skills in SharePoint and relational databases. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities. Proven ability to build trust and maintain collaborative relationships across diverse communities. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk mitigation capabilities. Proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, prioritize effectively, and maintain team motivation and progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certification such as the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and other software development methodologies. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms. Experience measuring user stories and testing-related efforts in technical implementation strategies. Familiarity with client contact solution projects and experience managing data system projects. Knowledge and experience with Salesforce and integration methodologies and best practices. Familiarity with document management, version control, and data analysis. Proven experience gathering and presenting insights to a variety of stakeholders.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
