Purpose and Scope

The Gideon Education & Training team is responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of content intended to equip today's Christian business and professional men. This role will support internal client requests ensuring they reinforce the vision of The Association and its ideals of balancing spiritual preparation and practical ministry through The Gideons International.

The focus of the video team is to provide services to internal clients that lead to the development of visual media. This media should inspire members in their Christian Walk, enhance their understanding of the Association, and develop skills for use in the practical ministry of a Christian businessman in his work, church, and service through The Gideons.

As a key contributor, the Video Production Intern supports the production and management of digital assets including video, photo, and training modules. This internship provides hands on experience for many aspects of video production from pre-production planning to post-production editing and archiving. The successful candidate will assist in creating and maintaining assets for educational, inspirational, and promotional purposes. This role works directly with Video Production managers and indirectly with curriculum designers and other internal clients.

Essential Job Functions Assist in the pre-production process by coordinating with Video Production staff for filming set up and set design, participating in storyboarding, arranging travel, and arranging for the hospitality needs for crew and talent. Assist in the production process operating video, photo, and/or audio equipment during productions, responding to on-set direction from video production staff. Assist in the post-production process including importing media, organizing and tagging raw video, photo, and/or audio files, reviewing footage, editing video, photo, and/or audio projects, exporting and archiving final products, and uploading final files online to the appropriate delivery platform (Vimeo, Sitecore, theConnection, Intranet, etc.) Assist in editing and updating existing assets to meet the format requirements for a new delivery platform. Establish or maintain digital asset management protocols, and maintenance protocols for studio equipment. Working Relationships

Video Interns need to possess technical skills in video, photo, audio, and the post-production process:

Familiarity with professional cameras (typically Canon products or similar), audio production and equipment, various HD formats, pre and post-production, studio and field production, lighting and grip, scriptwriting and storyboarding. Ability to use both PC and Mac operating systems and commonly used software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Familiarity with project management platforms: Teamwork, SharePoint, email hosts, and CMS (Sitecore) Follow verbal and written instructions Ability and willingness to learn new skills or software applications as necessary Ability to communicate effectively with all departments, vendors, members, etc. Physical

Pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree or possessing equivalent experience Proficient with Mac platform and Adobe Creative Cloud suite Understanding of digital media management Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite Proven experience with video, photo, and audio production Successful completion of a drug and background screen Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge, understanding and acceptance of Gideon policies, procedures and organizational structure Ability to use Apple hardware Superior editing and proofreading skills Ability to travel
