Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect with extensive experience in designing and managing secure, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and experience in handling Salesforce architecture in public sector environments. The Senior Salesforce Architect defines, executes, and measures business and technology solutions running on the Salesforce platforms. The role acquires and enhances or develops reference models for Salesforce Cloud (specifically Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Cand Commerce cloud) aligned with Enterprise Architecture, establishing a strategic foundation. The Senior Manager ensures consistent integration methods within and across platforms, develops and enhances the business-driven development concept to meet business needs, adheres to benchmark performance and reliability standards, and maintains acceptable service levels. Additionally, the role establishes Quality Assurance testing methods with IT Operations. Finally, the Solution Architect partners with IT peers for effective integration of the solution across different platforms/ applications. "The role has a responsibility for ensuring the completeness (fitness-for-purpose) of the architecture, in terms of adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders; and the integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting all the various views to each other, satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders, and showing the trade-offs made in so doing (as between security and performance, for example). The choice of which particular architectural views to develop is one of the key decisions that the Architect has to make. The choice has to be constrained by considerations of practicality and by the principle of fitness-for-purpose (i.e., the architecture should be developed only to the point at which it is fit for purpose and not reiterated ad infinitum as an academic exercise)." Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications. Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and integrate smoothly with existing systems and platforms. Responsible to deliver - Solution Architecture, Functional Design, and Technical design Perform Fit/Gap analysis required for solution design and planning. Perform CXC / CRM solution design working with business and technology experts. Technology Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to align solution architecture with business objectives and technology strategies. Provide guidance on the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices to ensure future-proof solutions. Define architectural standards and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of solutions. Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and project timelines. Provide mentoring and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Integration & System Performance: Oversee the integration of multiple systems, including cloud and on-premise platforms, to deliver seamless user experiences. Monitor system performance, ensuring that solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. Ensure data integrity and reliability across integrated systems. Documentation & Governance: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration plans, and design patterns. Ensure adherence to architecture governance processes and compliance with organizational and industry standards. Risk Management & Security: Identify and mitigate architectural risks and ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements. Conduct regular architecture reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Qualifications: Experience: 15 years of experience in software development, solution design, or a similar role. Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale solutions. Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. Experience in integrating multiple systems and platforms. Skills: Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, design patterns, and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET) and databases (SQL/NoSQL). Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
