We are currently hiring for teammates in our Material Department, located in Milwaukee, WI.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Material Handler, you will work with handling of materials at both the beginning and end of the production process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Material Handlers maintain the following accountabilities:

Verify accuracy of paperwork vs. received material and enter and allocate into the MRP system Verify acceptance of material by quality team via certification and document appropriately Documentation of material delivery to appropriate departments Move materials to stock machines (substrates) and return rolls and materials to storage Relocate finished goods to labelling area and complete labelling Place materials into appropriate racks and document locations on slitter tickets Maintain location system Complete staging and shipping tasks including pulling orders, move to staging area, checking orders and loading trucks Assist if needed in inventory of raw materials monthly (this may involve working odd hours) and involvement in recounts Process new ISO procedures, making sure to document this work Follow all safety policies and practices Other duties as directed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Experience

Licensed to operate a forklift safely with 1-2 years of experience required Basic knowledge of truck capacities, warehouse flow and production process environment (1st in/1st out) location system knowledge preferred Education and Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent Job Specific skills and abilities

Mathematical and computer skills Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions both inside the facility and out (i.e. high temperatures indoors in summer, cold temperatures inside and out around dock area) Comfortable with working around hazardous materials Strong self-motivating skills and ability to self-manage, prioritize and persevere in stressful situations Excellent communication skills and ability to calmly work with different personalities

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete time cards and work orders.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization.Ability to effective present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
