Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care trained physician with a passion for Pulmonary Medicine along with Critical Care work. This opportunity would consider limited time for those boarded in and who want to practice Sleep Medicine. This is a full-time opportunity in the Geisinger Western (State College/Lewistown) Region. Physicians may live in State College and practice at the Geisinger Healthplex State College in Port Matilda, PA and/or the Pulmonary Clinic in Lewistown with inpatient Pulmonary and Critical Care services at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, PA!
- Work in a collegial team of 3 extremely experienced, kind and welcoming providers
- Combination of Pulmonary/Critical Care with 3 weeks of clinic, including procedures, and 1 week of inpatient care/month
- Outpatient procedures include regular bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, etc. with opportunity to grow an advanced procedures program in the Geisinger Western Region
- Inpatient procedures include thoracentesis, bronchoscopy with EBUS, chest tube placement, ultrasound evaluation, central line/HD catheter placement, arterial lines, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, percutaneous trach and pleurx catheter placement if trained
- Opportunity to teach Pulmonary Critical Care fellows that rotate there

GEISINGER LEWISTOWN HOSPITAL: is a 123-bed acute care community hospital serving the 80,000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties and members of the contiguous counties of Centre, Perry, Snyder and Huntingdon.
