PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE FACULTY
University of California San Francisco
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital is expanding. Housed within the Department of Emergency Medicine, we are actively seeking diverse faculty with strong clinical and academic interests. Rank, step and series will be commensurate with qualifications.
Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. All applicants should excel in bedside teaching and have a strong ethic of service to their patients and profession.
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine provides comprehensive emergency services to a large local and referral population with approximately 70,000 pediatric visits a year at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals at Mission Bay and Oakland, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). The Department of Emergency Medicine hosts a fully accredited 4-year Emergency Medicine residency program and multiple fellowship programs, including a fellowship program in Pediatric Emergency. Research is a major priority and UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital is a member of the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN). There are opportunities for leadership and growth within the Division, Department and School of Medicine.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $142,800-$377,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
