Arundel Federal Savings Bank located in Anne Arundel County seeks a Sr. Compliance Analyst to administer bank compliance activities. The Sr. Compliance Analyst will support the business units with their compliance needs.

As the Sr. Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining a proficient knowledge of laws, rules and regulations and their impact on products, services, and operations for specific lines of business. Responsible for compliance change management. In conjunction with the VP, Chief Risk Officer, ensuring compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and internal controls as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules and regulations including but not limited to BSA/AML, CRA, ECOA, EFAA, EFT, Fair Lending, FACTA, FCRA, FDCPA, FDPA, GLBA, HMDA, OFAC, RESPA, TILA, TISA, TRID, and the USA Patriot Act. Assisting in the investigation, documentation, and monitoring of compliance with these rules and regulations. Serving as an Information Resource, both internally and externally, for Bank compliance related matters. Assisting with internal and external compliance reporting. Establishing partnerships with line of business leadership and serving as a consultant on issues related to compliance and helping develop policies and procedures. Responsible for implementation of new and updated compliance systems, standards, processes, procedures, and policies in response to changing laws, rules, regulation, and Bank products/services/strategies with direction from the VP CRO. Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities include supporting the Bank Secrecy Act Officer or senior management as appropriate and performing CTR/SAR reviews, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) checks, and BSA monitoring as assigned. Applying requirements relating to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) including Beneficial Ownership (BO). Applying all the regulatory requirements during the performance of the job duties as assigned. Completing all annual required BSA and other bank compliance training as assigned in a timely manner. Performing other administrative, operational and compliance related duties as assigned by the VP, Chief Risk Officer. Are you the one we need?
If you are, you’ll have these qualifications: AA degree or equivalent years of experience. Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial institution or related field. Knowledge of and experience with retail operations and BSA/AML/OFAC, lending, deposits, accounting policies and regulations pertaining to banks. Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to conduct research, understand laws and regulations, and offer problem solutions. Ability to self-initiate projects and to work independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities simultaneously in an efficient and effective manner. PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet.
