Overview
Our client is a financial institution providing the United States with a safe, flexible, and stable monetary system.
They have a contract opening for a
Scrum Master
to join the team to support the development team using the scrum framework to ensure that project goals/milestones are met.
This role is REMOTE. Per our client contract, candidates must be
US Citizens or Green Card Holders.
Responsibilities
Facilitate scrum events such as PI/sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives.
Help the group resolve blockers by coordinating with external teams or escalating critical issues.
Coach the team to improve communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Collaborate with product owners to scope, plan, and prioritize work.
Support product owners in backlog management and provide clear work status updates.
Assist the project manager with monthly status updates, including reports and dashboards.
Maintain and manage Azure DevOps for the team.
Create and maintain operational support documents for cloud infrastructure, collaborating with team members and storing them on SharePoint in a standardized format.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives.
5+ years of experience in Scrum techniques such as refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, and retrospectives Experience with Agile values and principles.
Exceptional skills in communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks/methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and software development life cycle models, with expertise in traditional project management principles.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with SAFe certification.
Skilled in planning and problem-solving in collaboration with product management and delivery teams.

Compensation
Competitive salary range of $120K-$133K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure and certifications.
The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Employee benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K plan and additional voluntary benefits. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
