The Amazon Optimal Inventory Health team is looking for a strong Principal PMT to drive the product and tech strategy for optimizing the value of all inventory in Amazon's worldwide network. This is a strategic area where you will build and scale the next generation of inventory health optimization products across US, EU, Japan, India, and 12 emerging markets. You will partner closely with Engineering and Science teams to formulate a clear product vision and build, operate and expand the scope of our complex optimization systems and services to deliver both bottom-line savings and business growth for Amazon and our Selling Partners. You will engage deeply with partner teams in SCOT and across Amazon in marketing, pricing and advertising to strategically drive Optimal Inventory Health by shaping demand and matching to existing and new supply of inventory. Key job responsibilities

Own product roadmap and strategy for key areas of Optimal Inventory Health Partner with Software Development, Research Science and Data Engineering teams to build new features, and develop new Machine Learning models to help reduce supply chain cost and improve profitability Work closely with senior management, scientists and engineers to deliver innovative software products that help Amazon and its selling partners optimize the value of their inventory Create buy-in for product vision both internally and externally and evangelize that vision within the organization and across Amazon Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create software product specifications and design Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning Drive projects, product and feature launches with teams inside Amazon Own strategic and operational product communications including developing and reporting on key metrics Drive customer/seller engagement in conjunction with partner seller/customer-facing teams About the team

Optimal Inventory Health (OIH) is a key part of Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) - the decision engine behind Amazon's supply chain. Every day, OIH systems look at every item sold by Amazon and our Selling Partners worldwide to determine if we like the inventory levels, and if not, do something about it. We use large-scale optimization and machine learning models to maximize the net present value of inventory, driving actions such as website pricing markdowns, deal creation and execution, as well as driving customers to find the products they want at prices they love through various channels, including search and ads. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience technical product management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
