About ChipIgnite: ChipIgnite is Efabless innovative program designed to lower the barrier of entry for creating custom silicon. It provides a streamlined path for turning ideas into physical silicon, offering free chip design, manufacturing, and packaging for select projects.
Job Summary: As an Applications Engineering Lead at Chipignite, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge technology and our customers' specific needs. You will be responsible for leading a team of applications engineers to provide technical support, drive customer adoption, and ensure the successful integration of our products into diverse applications. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of applications engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members are equipped with the necessary tools and resources. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Chipignite's products, technologies, and industry trends. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their potential applications. Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance and support. Collaborate with customers to identify their specific requirements and challenges. Develop and execute technical demonstrations, presentations, and workshops. Product Integration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless product integration into customer systems. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support. Problem Solving: Analyze customer issues and identify root causes. Develop and implement effective solutions to address customer challenges. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management. Collaborate with external partners and suppliers as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering or a similar role within the semiconductor industry. Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of semiconductor technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with design tools and simulation software. Desired Skills Experience with specific semiconductor applications (e.g., automotive, consumer electronics, industrial). Knowledge of programming (e.g., Python, C++). Experience with cloud-based platforms and tools.
