Financial Aid Director
Nossi College of Art and Design currently has an immediate need for an experienced Financial Aid Director. The Financial Aid Director is expected to possess strong communication skills with the ability to prioritize different levels of responsibilities while maintaining customer service to the highest of standards. Additionally, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the financial aid sector. Job Duties: Guide and provide information and assistance to students and their families, as well as campus administrative staff and representatives of outside agencies on a variety of financial aid programs. Daily administration responsibilities including filing and processing financial aid applications, auditing files for regulatory compliance, document tracking, and subsequent follow-up. Experience in a career school, college, or university financial aid office (required). To succeed in this position, you must: Maintain organized and detail-oriented files. Multi-task successfully and have strong time management skills. Possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel). Have outstanding follow-up skills. Specific Requirements: Determine eligibility for new and continuing students based on ISIR results, COA, and academic year level. Certify and award state TSAA grants within state guidelines. Certify Veterans Education benefits and maintain accurate VA files (School Certifying Official). Complete R2T4 calculations on withdrawn/graduate students. Assist students and families in completing FAFSA verification. Resolve C flags and comment codes on ISIR’s. Complete NSLDS SSCR reports every 60 days on time. Process and award institutional scholarships. Maintain accurate records of expected funding. Maintain accurate student files, auditing for regulatory compliance, document tracking, and subsequent follow-up. Work with students on Professional Judgement situations both EFC adjustments and Dependency overrides. Meet with students and staff on helping resolve retention issues.
