About The Position Clinical Architecture is seeking a Head of Software Engineering to join our team in the Indianapolis, IN area. The Head of Software Engineering will oversee product engineering operations and ensure proper engineering procedures are followed. Responsibilities Responsible for managing and growing software development, security, cloud, and product content teams. Solutions are focused on healthcare data quality and patient message interoperability. Collaborate with Executive leadership team to establish and implement strategic plans and operational strategies. Coordinate with Project Management, Product Management, Quality Assurance and Engineering management team to plan, prioritize and coordinate projects and initiatives. Oversee Engineering team and ensure they meet goals and objectives. Coordinate with Engineering management team to address personnel matters including:

Recruiting Performance reviews Performance concerns

Provide training and mentoring as needed. Consult with CEO and Executive leadership team to create long-range goals specific to the organization's needs. Oversee progress and timeliness of projects. Establish and manage vendor relationships (hardware, software, networking). Review project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget. Serve as the company's Cloud Architect / Engineer (AWS, Google, Azure). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred. At least ten years of related experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent managerial and supervisory skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development. Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
