This role includes, but is not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, delivery. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways. Primary Responsibilities:
Define and execute the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for software solutions, aligning it with overall business objectives and enterprise standards. Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Lead technical discussions with development teams. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of project objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns. Ensure the quality of deliverables through rigorous testing and adherence to industry standards. Foster an agile, collaborative, and performance-driven team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation. Identify and resolve technical and project-related roadblocks, working proactively to mitigate risks. Manage the project budget, including tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices in technical project management, keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. People manager of software engineering delivery teams. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth. Provide leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior level. Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science. Proven experience in software engineering project delivery. Experience with modern software development practices, such as CI/CD, DevOps, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience in managing budgets and project finances. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Experience with database systems and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Solution architecture experience. Expertise in software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Solid knowledge of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, SpringBoot). Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, MIRO). Proven excellent understanding of software architecture and design principles. Proven excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software engineering professionals. Proven exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Preferred Qualification:
