Role: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: Washington DC - 3 days onsite
Responsibilities:
Have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Function as RTE for coordinating and facilitating Agile Release Train ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum of Scrum calls, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions. Lead, guide, and inspire Agile Release Train (ART) team members. Coordinate cross-team collaboration and communication to ensure smooth execution of the release process. Monitor and report on the progress of releases, identifying risks and dependencies, and facilitating resolution. Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years experience working as RTE. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe RTE, PMP, CSM) is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence. Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Benefits:
