Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst intern will work with the analytics team to gather and analyze data to identify consumer trends and opportunities within our market. The intern will also be responsible for validating new data processes, as well as monitoring reporting dashboards for inaccuracies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide analysis of marketing campaigns and sales activities Assisting in producing reporting and recommendations to support business initiatives Research and discover new data trends and marketing opportunities Learn about new data feeds and reporting opportunities Data validation and support Experience, Education, and Licensure:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in analytics, marketing research, data engineering, or related fields Pursuing a career in analytics, data engineering, or similar Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in data analysis tools - Excel, BigQuery, and SQL Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of programming languages - Python and R Knowledge of reporting dashboards - Tableau and Power BI Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels in the organization Candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive and have good time management skills Excellent writing and communication skills Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time
Expectations:
Ability to start in January and continue internship through the 2025 season. Candidate can be part-time during the spring school semester but will be expected to be full-time once the school year is over. Ability to report to the Cincinnati, Ohio office in-person during the internship Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds Organization Performs duties as workload necessitates Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload Meet Department productivity standards
