We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Security Technology - Service & Maintenance, who will be part of the team that oversees Netflix’s enterprise-wide physical security systems. You will focus on the programmatic oversite delivery of uptime of our hardware and software through vendor management, preventative maintenance, patch updates, and a multitude of other methods. We are seeking a people-oriented individual skilled at articulating complex technical work to stakeholders, managing multiple projects, and ready to take on a Netflix-sized challenge with a wide scope in a dynamic role. Responsibilities Manage a team of contract technicians, application engineers, and coordinators to troubleshoot, repair, and perform regular maintenance and work on security system infrastructure 24/7 Understand the nuance of hardware and software deployed across different environments and facilities from office spaces, studios, theaters, and more Partner with cross-functional teams like Security Operations, Workplace, Network Engineering, etc to ensure we have the best remediation plans and coordination of access to specialty spaces for field repairs Determine the best posture for a preventive maintenance plan that will ensure we check the programming and hardware quality of all devices on a regular cadence to reduce the likelihood of service outages Negotiate all vendor contracts for local service providers and ensure billing globally is sent to the appropriate cost center Ensure standard operating procedures (SOP) are developed and implemented to respond to different severity-level events Manage the service level agreements (SLA) for our internal partners and external service field vendors for the appropriate response and remediation time of a service issue Develop and maintain all playbooks on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing systems Monitor and maintain a reasonable inventory of replacement hardware, general-use materials, and tools Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required Create and publish metrics around the up-time and ticket intake to identify potential trouble alarms, cost, and SLA delivery Clearly communicate program updates and information to the team, stakeholders, and employees Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of experience with increasing scope, responsibility, and complexity at a multinational company Familiarity with multiple security technologies hardware and software from manufacturers like Genetec, Envoy, Life Safety, Axis, Schlage, Von Duprin, etc… Comfortable leading global cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage both full-time employees and VARs/vendors Solid understanding of network architecture and information security principles Entertainment and/or tech industry experience is strongly preferred Comfortable with a fast pace and constant change Willingness to run lean with a DIY mentality, take educated risks, and think out of the box Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $350,000. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
