About the Role
Macrobond is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition within a portfolio of strategic accounts. This role is exclusively focused on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new opportunities, positioning Macrobond's market-leading economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients.
This is a pivotal role for Macrobond as we expand our presence in the Americas, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to our growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and secure new enterprise clients by targeting strategic accounts in key sectors. Build a robust pipeline of opportunities and deliver against ambitious sales targets.
- Consultative Selling: Partner with prospective clients to understand their challenges and requirements, delivering tailored solutions using Macrobond's data-driven platform, API integrations, and analytics tools.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a focused sales plan for new business acquisition, leveraging market intelligence to identify opportunities that align with Macrobond's solutions and value proposition.
- Client Engagement: Lead discovery meetings, craft compelling proposals, and deliver impactful demonstrations of Macrobond's capabilities. Navigate complex buying processes with multiple stakeholders to successfully close deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align efforts and refine the go-to-market strategy. Share insights from the field to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
- Market Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, client pain points, and competitor offerings to position Macrobond as the go-to solution for economic and financial data.
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong focus on new business acquisition, preferably selling data-driven solutions to enterprise clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with selling to financial institutions, including banks, asset managers, and corporates, is preferred but not essential. A willingness to learn and understand the challenges faced by these sectors is required.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to closing complex, high-value deals.
- Track Record: Consistent achievement or overachievement of new business sales quotas, with a history of building strong pipelines and closing enterprise deals.
- Networking Skills: Strong ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers within large organizations.
- A driven, self-starter mindset with a passion for uncovering and winning new opportunities in enterprise markets.
- Exceptional consultative selling skills, with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and navigate long, complex sales cycles.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging diverse audiences from technical users to executive stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to working with internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of the sales strategy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
