Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead and oversee our marketing efforts across both brand and product marketing functions. This role requires a visionary leader who can elevate our brand presence, drive user acquisition and retention, and align product marketing strategies to optimize user engagement and revenue. As the Head of Marketing, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, define marketing objectives, and execute campaigns that enhance awareness, deliver business growth, and contribute to the success of our product.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing:
- Brand Awareness: Develop and execute strategies to position the company as a market leader in its industry.
- Speaking Opportunities: Identify, secure, and prepare for high-impact speaking engagements for executives and key stakeholders.
- Public Relations (PR): Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and influencers; oversee press releases, media kits, and outreach campaigns.
- Creative Leadership: Oversee the creation of innovative, on-brand marketing assets, including campaigns, videos, and visuals.
- Social Media: Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to foster community engagement and amplify the brand's voice.
- Content Marketing: Direct the creation of high-value content (e.g., blogs, whitepapers, videos, and case studies) that aligns with user personas and buyer journeys.
Product Marketing:
- Activation, Revenue, Retention: Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive user adoption, increase customer lifetime value, and improve retention rates.
- Product Market Fit (PMF): Conduct market research, analyze data, and gather feedback to ensure alignment between product features and user needs.
- In-App Enhancements: Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams as a key stakeholder for feature development, user experience improvements, and growth initiatives.
- Go-to-Market (GTM): Lead GTM strategies for new features and products, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between marketing, product, and sales teams to deliver seamless communication and alignment on priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in both brand building and product marketing, with measurable success in driving awareness and revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey a clear and compelling brand message.
- Strong understanding of user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue models.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and creative teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
