Aon is looking for a Managing Director, Facultative Reinsurance to join its industry-leading Casualty Team in Chicago or New York City! As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Reinsurance Solutions Line.

Your impact as a Managing Director:

1. Direct focus on new Facultative broking production - producing new business and developing sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities.
2. Grows existing accounts and seeks new account opportunities.
3. Achieves placement goals at or above set levels and drives team to do the same.
4. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with clients and reinsurers.
5. Leads team of professionals or holds equivalent senior business responsibility.
6. Acts as a mentor to broking professionals and develops people to maximum potential.
7. Handles T&E expenses for self and team within corporate guidelines.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:

1. A minimum of 12 years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on casualty insurance.
2. Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at a most senior level.
3. Strong market presence within the broking industry.
4. Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients.
5. Ambitious attitude with high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfaction.

Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$200,000 to $270,000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
