Chemours is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our growing Titanium Technology team! This position will report directly to the Maintenance First Line Supervisor at our DeLisle, MS location. E&I Technicians repair and maintain heavy industrial electrical and instrument control systems such as conveyors, production machines and equipment. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Operates various types of calibration and test equipment Analyzes and develops solutions to instrument and electrical problems Bends conduit and identifies all types of fittings (conduit, pipe, and tubing) and all associated tasks Performs calibrations and routine maintenance on all types of instrumentation. Maintains PLC/DCS control systems Rebuilds, calibrates, and replaces all types of control valves, positioners, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, PH probes, analyzers, and regulators Maintains and reworks industrial lighting systems Troubleshoots and repairs motor control systems Ability to maintain industrial power distribution systems The following is required for this role: High School diploma or GED equivalency Minimum of two (2) years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience OR Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Instrumentation & Electronics or Electrical Technology or similar OR the equivalent combination of technical training or education and experience OR NCCER Certification in Instrumentation/Electrical or similar. Examples of experience would be electrician, instrument technician, electronics technician, service technician for industrial electrical equipment.
