Electrical Engineer

We have a client located in the Pittsburgh PA area that has an immediate need for a Senior Electrical Engineer.  Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • 10+ years experience in the design and coordination of electrical systems • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and regulations • Proficient in AutoCAD, and other design software • Must be detail oriented and quality driven • Must have strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical construction documents Preferred:  • PE license preferred • Proficient in Revit Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Design and coordinate electrical systems for MEP projects • Ensure that all designs are compliant with local codes and regulations • Provide technical expertise to project managers and other engineers • Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure project success • Manage project timelines and budgets • Survey existing site conditions and capturing those conditions utilizing a 3D laser scanner • Create complete and accurate drawings, plans, diagrams, details & notes for use in construction document packages • Conduct site visits and provide support during construction • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance Salary-$90,000-$150,000 Please send resume to: wendyc@selectek.com 678-802-6616 Â
