Assembler / Kitter

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Assembler / Kitter to join their team. As an Assembler / Kitter, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization. Job Title: Assembler / Kitter Location: Charleston, SC Pay Range: $17?per hour What's the Job? Able to work and be on time M-F from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM (hours will change to 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM once we move). Willing to properly learn how to locate, count, sort, package, and consolidate finished products onto pallets for shipment (handheld scanners are available). Capable of standing for long periods (2-hour increments) to assemble, process, and package components into the correct packaging for each customer. Responsible for properly verifying each finished pallet before shipment and keeping an accurate track of inventory maintenance. Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted on a consistent basis and assist with inventory audits and other job-related tasks. What's Needed? Basic written, math, and computer skills (will be working with computers/printers). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
