Responsible for the planning, organization, and management direction of all end user activities related to the analysis, procurement, development, and implementation of complex system-wide computerized student information system (SIS) for the VCCS.

This position may be eligible for telework opportunities; availability, hours, and duration will be in accordance with the Commonwealth's and VCCS Teleworking policy

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of complex system analysis, design, and data integrity control mechanisms. Knowledge of fiscal and accounting management operations and the role and relationship of automated student information systems to the efficiency and effectiveness thereof. Demonstrated ability to apply computerized solutions to complex functional student financial information system needs and objectives. Working knowledge of a complex student financial information system in a higher education environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems for scope and complexity and develop automated solutions.
Additional Considerations:

Graduation from a college or university with major studies in accounting or information systems with an advanced degree highly desirable. Requires demonstrated accomplishments in the performance of high-level end users' system support services, preferably as a lead individual in the development and installation of computerized systems. Experience in the higher education environment and specifically PeopleSoft administrative software a plus.
