Position Purpose: The Sr. Subcontracts Administrator will be responsible for the management and oversight of category specific major, technically complex subcontracts, and related activities in support of Blue Canyon Technology customer programs. Title: Sr. Subcontracts Administrator Position Type: Full Time Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Responsible for all aspects of category subcontract execution from proposal through product delivery. Responsible for leading the development of category supplier strategic relationships and alignment of suppler capabilities to mission requirements. Develop and maintain risk assessments, performance tracking, and to drive supplier performance to subcontract requirements. Author subcontract and statement of work documents, templates, process and procedures. Drive to improve current processes and Responsible for supplier sourcing, solicit and lead supplier proposal evaluations; employ value analysis techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability, investigate supplier's ability to perform within the proposed cost, technical, and schedule parameters Identify supplier risk and opportunities to achieve program objectives; develop risk assessments, manage supplier risk through targeted negotiation strategies/plans in conjunction with the Subcontract Management Team/technical leads; lead subcontract negotiations. Performs analysis of previous/current contracts, pricing, and trends to ensure reasonable prices and suggests changes as necessary Owns the management of supplier contractual performance throughout the subcontracting lifecycle; resolve supplier performance issues and any internal BCT issues that affect supplier performance. Negotiate, execute, and maintain NDA and Terms & Conditions for Supply Chain working with General Counsel as required. May advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. Maintains as awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts, including-export considerations. Represent Supply Chain Management at various levels on cross functional teams to drive business success, cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. Perform all subcontract administrative and management functions including modifications, manage subcontract funding, track subcontractor spend plan, milestone payment plans, cash flow and monitor variances; evaluate accuracy, and authorize payment of invoices; solicit Engineering Change Proposals, review Prime Contract modifications to include relevant changes in subcontract modifications. Resolves vendor disputes, contract / invoicing discrepancies, and performance issues Ensure that all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives. Track Cost Savings and Cost Avoidance to company goals. May provide direction and training to less exp rienced staff on subcontract matters and may make presentations as required. Performs cost and price analysis on subcontractor's proposals. Analyzes and evaluates potential problems with subcontractor commitments, assesses the impact of subcontractor delays, assists in developing recovery plans and recommends solutions. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations to include the FAR and DFAR and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Identifies subcontract issues and develops solutions. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Other responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications/Education: 10 years or more related experience with Supply Chain/procurement experience, including execution and oversight of cost type and firm fixed price subcontracts in support of DoD and/or NASA BS/BA preferred Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization Advanced FAR/DFAR Strong interpersonal and organization Strong communication skills (both oral and written). Prior experience as a subcontract's management professional at a 1st or 2nd tier Aerospace & Defense contractor Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
