Project Engineer

Our client seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and planning skills, leadership abilities, and a high ethical standard. Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Pasadena, Texas Pay Range: Competitive What's the Job? Lead assigned capital projects (standalone projects and projects within plant outages) and manage engineering, design, and construction resources Develop estimates, funding request documents, schedule, and ongoing forecasts for assigned projects. Ensure all projects receive adequate hazard and safety reviews and that all recommendations are completed in a timely manner. Ensure inherent process safety is adhered to on all project designs. Provide field supervision/support during project field execution. Maintain projects on budget and schedule. Ensure all projects meet the operability needs of the customer. Gain a basic understanding of the operating plant environment, process, and equipment. What's Needed? Minimum of 3 years manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, or capital projects experience. Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong leadership abilities. Self-motivated and willingness to learn. High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements. Organizational credibility - able to influence business area, engineering, and manufacturing managers in decision-making process. Technical degree (Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred). Ability to travel 10-20% of the time depending on assigned workload –WGC region includes Air Products operating facilities in TX and LA. What's in it for me?
